Karl Lagerfeld Inaugurates Champs Elysées Illuminations

Like every year, the most beautiful avenue in the world will be enlighten every night by sumptuous illuminations from 6pm to 2am and all night long for Christmas and New Years Eve. The theme chosen by the stakeholders of the event is “Flamboyance” and will be composed of a rain of shooting stars going up the 400 trees of the avenue. The town hall of Paris chose Karl Lagerfeld as the sponsor of the demonstration and will inaugurate this magical moment on the 22nd of November 2018 at 6pm ! Ground Control Opening on the Champs Elysées

Ground control invests a famous place of the Champs Elysees, “La Galerie 26”. The Armistice Centenary

The 11th of November 2018, World War 1 ended with the Armistice signature, following four years of violent fights. One hundred years later, WWI French Soldiers, also called “Les Poilus” are not here anymore to testify. In order to commemorate this historical date, the city of Paris organizes events from the 6th of October until the 30th of November 2018. On the program, concerts, orchestras, musical readings, round-table discussions, movie-conferences, expositions, promenades, guided tours, ceremonies and the inauguration of the new Parisian war memorial. The details of the activities proposed are available on the city official website. Sleepless night in Paris

The Parisian Sleepless Nights made Paris dream. For this 17th edition, the event will take place on the 6th of October 2018 and will be directed by Gaël Charbau, independent curator and artistic advisor for Universcience. From 7 PM to 7 AM, Parisians and travelers have a date with Art in the city of lights, full artistic masterpieces and artists representations. At this occasion, public transports will be maintained all night long and various restaurants will stay open until dawn. Europe Heritage Days

More than 30 years ago, the ministry of culture and communication created the European Heritage days that invite you to discover or rediscover Parisian monuments for free.
